Housing First Charlotte-Mecklenburg is a collaboration to end chronic homelessness in our community by December 31, 2016. Based on our 20 years of experience, Urban Ministry Center has been chosen as the project manager for the initiative.  Our partners are a coalition of 26 government, corporate and nonprofit agencies, all publicly committing people and resources to help Charlotte become one of the first cities in the nation to say, “No more. We can do better” for the estimated 450 chronically homeless.
