Honor card 2007 by Joe Robinson

Painted Wood Carving by Joe Robinson (2007)

When he was homeless and hurting, Joe received support and encouragement from the Center's art program. While perfecting his gifts as a painter and woodcarver, Joe also worked on practical life skills needed to get back on his feet. Our 2007 card features a nativity scene in Joe's delightful unmistakable style. The card's written message shares Joe's remarkable story, certain to inspire joy and hope.

Each person who receives an Honor Card from you will learn that you have given a donation in their name to the Urban Ministry Center: A gift that helps us continue our mission of providing hot meals and basic life necessities to Charlotte's poor and homeless, as we work to encourage hope, empowerment and the skills needed to build self-sufficiency.

We are happy to send them on your behalf to whomever you wish to honor, simply give us their names and addresses when you order. Alternatively, we can also mail the cards to you, so you can send a personal message.
