From its inception, the Urban Ministry Center has been run primarily by volunteers. Check out our
volunteer opportunities. Most are performed on a weekly basis, though some are bi-monthly or monthly.

Socks hats and gloves - Through a cooperative effort with WSOC-TV, our community donates socks, hats and gloves for the neighbors who come to the Urban Ministry Center. We distribute these vital items to our neighbors at Christmas and the winter holidays, and throughout the winter. Watch this site for more information.
The Souper Bowl - Have fun and give money to help our soup kitchen. Souper Bowl parties are organized on Superbowl Sunday by your local congregation or participating restaurants. Watch for the date and details here.
